My take on Psalm 1 1-3;
Blessed is the one who will not follow the crowd
Who stands aside when spiteful words are spoken
And listens to the faint murmur of grace at the back of the busy room
Who holds fast to the dream of peace
That person is like a tall tree planted by streams of water
Heavy with autumn fruit
this fragile tent
