this fragile tent 
I must change my wardrobe as I’m obviously not hip enough! I have to say I like what these people are saying. Far to many churches are too inward looking, the new churches that are formed seem to me to grow by member shift from existing churches. The whole thing of ‘doing church’ can get too formula based where like minded individuals congregate and fall into ‘group think’.
My vision of a church on Sunday is that it should be empty as its members are so caught up in the needs of their communities they can’t make church. Like the good samaritan, they’re prepared to drop everything and forgo their need for ‘blessing’ to stop and help those in need. OK, I’m being flippant but there is far to much pressure to conform and ‘group think’ in many churches – either the church accepts people for what they are or it doesn’t.
Celebrate the differences, accept many views, live one truth.
