Just finished watching the last of the ‘Wallander’ series on BBC 1. It is the best thing I have seen for a long time- and makes me proud of the old beeb. Scripting, casting and photography all at its finest. Each shot a masterpiece of film making.

christ yeah, Branagh is just so brilliant , his performances always leave me in emotional upheaval. i hadn’t heard Emily Barker before hearing her on the intro and credits to Wallander but have now been firmly set onto her music
