Scintillate…

This made me chuckle yesterday-

I have outlived my youthfulness

so a quiet life for me

Where once

I used to scintillate

Now I sin

Till ten

Past three

  1. Recently I fell to sleep with the radio on and woke to hear this poem read out – made me chuckle. I try not to like Roger McGough but his poetry always speaks to me
