Of course it is an issue of equality but also The Church definition of marriage is wrong – “between a man and woman for children”. This means my marriage to my wife is NOT marriage as we have no children of our own and all marriage between pensioners should be banned!!! Marriage should be between two consenting people of legal age who love each other and want to spend the rest of their lives together with God’s blessing. For the first time I see Kevin Rudd in a good light. I think he will lose the election but win the argument ….. and perhaps victory is for another day.
